PLEASE NOTE, THE BELOW IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO PRO PLANS. PLEASE REFER TO OUR SWING PLAN FAQ FOR THE RULES AROUND TRADING NEWS ON SWING PLANS.

During the Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the Assessment you can trade freely during all news releases.

After you pass the Assessment and are a Qualified Trader you should be careful when trading during news releases.

Only our Qualified Analyst are NOT allowed to execute any new trade or close an existing trade on the targeted (as per the table) instrument in the window of 2 minutes before until 2 minutes after the release of the below News announcements

To clarify, we define executing a trade as opening or closing either a pending order (including stop loss or a take profit) or market execution. You are allowed to hold your trade(s) on the targeted instrument(s) that were opened more than 2 minutes before the restricted news event.

Be reminded that if your Stop Loss or Take Profit is activated/filled during the restricted time window of 2 minutes before until 2 minutes after, it will be taken as a violation, this will be identified as a Soft breach and any profits acquired will not be eligible for a Performance Fee.

Please note that trades opened less than 2 minutes before and/or closed within 2 minutes after a High Impact News event will result in voided profits, constituting a Soft Breach.

It's important to adhere to this rule consistently. However, the account status will not be affected by this action.

Can’t open 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after

Cant close 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after

4 minute window (2 minutes either side of news) NO trades to be executed
