Yes, Expert Advisors (EAs) are allowed for trading on our MT5 Platform, there is currently no EA functionality for cTrader accounts . Additionally, EAs can use virtual/hidden stop losses. However, there are some guidelines to follow:
Enable EA at Checkout: When purchasing an account, make sure to click on "Enable EA" during the checkout process. However, please note that you will still need to contact our support team to process the enabling of the EA.
Pre-Approval: We kindly request that EAs are pre-approved before use. To do this, please email [email protected] with the EX5 (Set File) and the MQ5 (Source Code) - These will then be reviewed before approval.
Please note that to have the EA feature enabled on the Qualified Analyst account it must be enabled and used during the assessment.
It's important to note that we do not allow High-Frequency Trading (HFT), latency arbitrage trading bots, EAs, or strategies. These are prohibited and will result in the closure of the account. The use of third-party EAs poses a risk to both our company and the trader. If more than one trader is found using the same EA and placing the same trades, the account will be flagged for breaching our "No Group Trading" rules, potentially leading to account failure.
