Can I use an Expert Advisor (EA)?

Yes, Expert Advisors (EAs) are permitted on our MT5 platform; however, their use is strictly limited to risk management and trade assistance tools. EA functionality is not currently available for cTrader, DX Trade, or TradeLocker accounts.

Permitted EAs

EAs designed solely for trade management are approved for use. This includes tools for lot size calculation, stop-loss and take-profit management, break-even functionality, and general risk control. These are classified as risk management tools and are fully approved.

Prohibited EAs

Automated EAs that execute trades independently, without human oversight, are strictly prohibited and will not be approved under any circumstances. Such systems typically rely on aggressive execution models and increased exposure to volatile market conditions. This prohibition includes third-party bots, fully automated strategies, high-frequency trading, and latency arbitrage strategies. The use of any such system will result in immediate account closure.

Please also note that third-party EAs present a risk to both the firm and the trader. If multiple traders are identified using the same EA and placing identical trades, this will be treated as a breach of our "No Group Trading" policy and may result in account failure.

How to Enable an EA

  • Enable EA at checkout: When purchasing an account, select "Enable EA" during checkout. Please note that you will still need to contact our support team to complete the enabling process.

  • Request pre-approval: We require all EAs to be pre-approved before use. To request approval, email [email protected] with the relevant EX5 file. Where available, the MQ5 source code may also be submitted for review.

Please note that to have the EA feature enabled on a Qualified Analyst account, it must be enabled and used during the evaluation.

Any breach of this policy, including the use of prohibited or unapproved EAs, will result in immediate disqualification from the evaluation programme and may lead to permanent account termination.
