  • Ask Price: The ask price, also known as the "offer" or "selling" price, represents the price at which you can buy a financial instrument (such as a currency pair or stock) from the market. It's the price at which the market or your broker is willing to sell the asset to you.

  • Bid Price: The bid price, on the other hand, is the price at which you can sell a financial instrument to the market or your broker. It's the price at which the market or your broker is willing to purchase the asset from you.

The difference between the ask price and bid price is known as the “spread”
